Stayed at the Craftsman Inn last night and the rooms were lovely, so much better than the same old same old chain but I made the mistake of eating at the attached restaurant. I ordered the chicken which was swimming in grease, I had picked it specifically because I didn't want anything fried for dinner. Unfortunately, this was and it... More

The staff were very nice and the rooms (except for the shower which had ZERO pressure) was very nice. Quaint and convenient. More

Thank you so much for your comments about our staff. We do feel that we have a wonderful group of people to represent us here. Your comments about the water pressure do not go unheard. We are exploring new ways to continue our efforts at water coservancy while improving that pressure. A visit in the near future should see much... More

Craftsman Inn is a nice hotel. Nothing fancy but has a lodge feel quality to it. Cozy lobby and rooms. Rooms on the smaller side. Comfortable bed. Bathrooms are very small and very low water pressure. Feels like an individually owned hotel rather than a chain type feeling. Hallway carpets and elevator need a cleaning and leave a not so... More

You are correct that The Craftsman Inn is an independent hotel, and does have a country inn or lodge ambiance and feel. We are in the heart of Fayetteville's shopping opportunities, and have a number of great local and regional shopping destinations to visit right next door. Our Limestone Grille, as you mentioned, is a super spot to dine, but... More

Thank you Laura M! Its great to hear from our neighbors as well as our guests from around the country. And yes, we do have a super comfy bed! And our restaurant, The Limestone Grille has been acclaimed from the beginning for its innovative approach to Contemporary American Cuisine and its Wine Spectator Award of Excellence wine program. We appreciate your comments and we hear you on the water pressure concern, which is issue that we are working to remedy with some new technology that will keep water conservancy in mind while stepping up that pressure! And while we're definitely not downtown in the middle of things, we are in a great area on the East side of... More

Stayed here on a recent visit to see family after hearing from my parents what a nice place it was...come to find out that the last time they stayed there was TEN yrs ago and things definitely changed...for the worst. Was so excited to stay and boy was it a huge letdown. Room was small and felt/looked dirty. Lifted the... More

We spent one night in a large enough suite at the only motel/hotel in Fayetteville. This is a very nice area with great shops and restaurants, but they need a better hotel/motel. My initial impression when I arrived late at night was that things didn't seem clean. Even the side entrance and hall seemed to lack a feeling of freshness.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while in town for a wedding. We stayed in a suite which was spacious and clean but a bit rundown. The carpets were stained in places and the bathroom floor tiles were a bit worn. The bed and bedding however were superb. The down pillows and comforter were heavenly and the room was reasonably...
