I read through the other reviews for this hotel, and most of the "bad" things listed aren't bad. They are normal for a Candlewood. Candlewood is an extended stay hotel. Every room has a kitchen. The hotel is located behind the Holiday Inn at Carrier Circle. We stayed 3 nights from August 31 - Sept. 3/07. At check-in we were pre-assigned room 309. We chose this hotel because we could use free reward nights via Priority Club during busy Parents Weekend at Syracuse Univ. This was our first time staying at a CandleWood Suites Hotel. The desk clerk wasn't exactly personable, the room smelled like someone had just had a fish fry, the bathtub didn't look like it had been cleared very well, and to top it off they changed me $250 for a phone call I never made...
