This hotel is about a 5-10 minute drive from the main area of East Hampton at Main and Newton Streets. It's located in a Marina, which was a little disconcerting at first since it was deserted when we were there just after their Peak Season, but at least it was quiet. I think we were only 1 of a couple... More

I stayed at East Hampton Point with my husband and our eleven year old son this past Labor Day Weekend. We had been traveling for August, and our house was still rented so we decided to give EH Point a shot based on reviews we had read on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. We had a one bedroom cottage... More

We looked at other places in The Hamptons, but many are old and in my opinion, should be updated with contemporary decor. East Hampton Point will not disappoint the discerning traveler. The cottages are spacious and decorated tastefully with plantation style furniture, the bathrooms are marble, the linens are Frette, and each unit has a private patio. The resort amenties... More

East Hampton Point is a great place to stay if you are looking for a high standard inn that takes pride in its cleanliness, gorgeous linens/towels, beautiful but small rooms. The inn offers great L'occitane products and Frette linens and in compassion to other inns in East Hampton this exceeds expectations. However, as a New Yorker who loves Ritz-Carlton's, and... More

The East Hampton Point Marina and Resort are, quite simply, the most wonderful spot we've ever visited by boat or land. This is not hyperbole, but a reflection of the remarkable quality of the facilities, the management, the staff and the restaurant, whose qualities shone under the most serious of adverse circumstances -- a sudden, rogue tornado/waterspout in the area... My wife and I intended to dock overnight at East Hampton Point's marina this July, but we got caught in a water spout just outside Three Mile Harbor. The staff came to our rescue. Despite damage to the property, power outages and downed trees, we were rescued by boat by the front desk manager while we were stuck on the... More

My family and I spent a weekend at East Hampton Point. It was great. the staff was kind and willing to go above and beyond. We have very active twin boys. Getting away to the beach for the day was exactly what we needed. Next time we'll bring a sitter but it was very relaxing. More

The room at the Palmer House was new and exceptionally clean. However, service at East Hampton Point is minimal, to the point of being non-existent. The worst part is check in. If you arrive past 5, there's not a soul there. The grounds are pitch dark and a maze of cabins and various buildings. The night we arrived (at around... More

Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend, 2009. There aren't many options for lodging in this area if you aren't renting a house, and that state of affairs leads to laurel-resting, laziness and all the other dangers of insufficient competition. EHP has build a number of charming rooms/cottages on its property. Ours was new-ish but spartan. Very expensive for what you... More

My family and I were looking for a cozy place in the Hamptons to spend Thanksgiving. After looking at the cottages on East Point's website, I called to ask a few questions. My only absolute request in looking for a place was that i needed a full kitchen to make Thanksgiving dinner. The website lists ALL the cottages as having... More
