Just got back from a weekend at the Tunnicliff. From the moment we arrived the front desk worker was very helpful. We got there long before check in but he showed us where we could park and leave our car, which was great considering its very hard to find parking in town this time of year. When we came back... more

We had a nice stay at the Tunnicliff last weekend. It felt really good to park the car on Friday and not move it till we departed on Sunday. The room was clean and reasonably priced and the free breakfast had plenty of food. more

I just got home from a weekend in Cooperstown with my boyfriend for his 40th birthday. I chose the Tunnicliff Inn for our stay because it got great reviews. Although most everything was fine, I didn't feel like it lived up to my expectations. We arrived on Friday around 4:30 PM and with only one person working the desk, our... more

The Tunnicliff Inn is in a great location, near all the sites. If your a baseball fan, historic buff or even interested in the arts, you will be within walking distance to all these and more. The food is fantastic and you can be casually dressed during your stay. more

Took my 11-year old son for a one-night getaway to visit the Hall of Fame. Tunnicliff fit the bill perfectly. In the middle of town and just 500' away across the street from the HOF. Room with King bed a bargain at $85 including breakfast versus highway budget motels at $100+. Great to just park the car and walk to... more

The Tunnicliff Inn was beautiful, quiet, and perfectly located in the center of town! The manager Tom was very helpful and accommodating! The room (Executive King Suite) was comfortable and clean! The Pit had excellent food and service! We loved it so much we decided to stay an extra night! We will definitely be back soon! more

Have to be honest, after we booked this reservation and then went on to read the reviews we were a bit hesitant of what we were going to find upon arrival. I have to say we were very much surprised and pleased from the moment we arrived. We were greated by Tom, the Inn's manager, who was very friendly, accomodating... more

My husband & I stayed here Nov. 2007. (We actually arrived Halloween, which was interesting - lots of trick-or-treaters came to the bar which was appropriately decorated.) It is an old building and the room and bathroom were very small, but the bed was comfortable. There were 2 sitting areas on the main floor, with free wi-fi. The breakfast was... more

We had a terrific experience at the Tunnicliff Inn during our trip to Cooperstown to see my nephew play baseball at Dreams Park. The location was ideal. A wonderful restaurant is located within the hotel (had dinner there twice), other restaurants, shops, drugstore, Baseball Hall of Fame, Wax museam, etc., are all within a very comfortable -- meaning short-- walking... more

On our first trip to Cooperstown five years ago, we had reservations elsewhere, but upon arriving we found that the location was still about 10 miles outside of the Village. So, we took our chances and ventured into the middle of town and were glad to find that Tunnicliff had a room available. Well, we have returned every year since... more
