"What a Breakfast, What a Breakfast", I would say it again but unfortunately we stayed at this terrific B and B for only 2 nights. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance to The Hall of Fame, the Town Square and restaurants. More

Hosts Charlene and Jim provide everything you'll need in a stressfree environment. Their breakfast creativity is to die for, so get there before December 2012. They aren't just hosts I know, they've become friends my wife and I enjoy being around. More

We had a fantastic stay at the Phinney house while in cooperstown NY. The B&B was clean, the location was walking distance to anything you want (borders the ball field), and the people were great. Highly recommend the stay. They had great ideas on where to go for what you are looking for from burgers and beers to the best... More

This was our first visit ever to a Bed and Breakfast. Jim and Charlene, the owners of the 1805 Phinney House made us fans! Spotless and clean, beautifully decorated, SAFE neighborhood and we walked everywhere. Such a lovely place on the third base foul line behind Doubleday Field. (The end of the backyard is the wall to the field.) It... More

I have stayed 3 times now with Jim and Charlene at 1805 Phinney House. This Inn is part of the original Phinney farm, where the historic Doubleday Field is now located. (I play ball there with the Baltimore Orioles baseball camp) My room has a view of the field, which is important to me as a baseball nut. The room... More

Jim and Charlene are great hosts. The house is well maintained and the food is excellent. We have stayed there every year for the last five years and always look forward to our next visit. It is within walking distance to just about everything worth seeing or doing while visiting Cooperstown. Try it, you'll like it. More

The 1805 Phinney House innkeepers, Jim & Charlene, welcome you into their home and family. My wife and I have been staying at the 1805 Phinney House for a week every August for the past five years. The day always starts with Charlene's perfectly prepared homemade breakfast served by Jim in the comfortable dining room. Each bedroom has a private... More

This past summer marked the third year my husband and I have been staying at the 1805 Phinney House during Hall of Fame weekend. We plan to return for years to come. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every visit to Cooperstown, due to the hospitality, comfort, and kindness found at 1805 Phinney House. In addition to the owners’ attention to detail and... More
