I have been going to Hemlock Hall since 1977, and it is a slice of heaven. It is a wonderful place that I look forward to going to every year. We make sure to arrive early so we can get the amazing breakfast that they prepare every day. The food is incredible -- don't miss Saturday night's turkey dinner --... More

Fabulous place to stay right on an immaculate Adirondack Lake. Plenty of recreational aopportunities. The proprietor is friendly and the food ample. Accommodations in cabins are rustic, but clean. It would be nice if the bathrooms were updated.

Who could ask for more? This is definitely where you want to stay when you're touring the Adirondacks. Our cabin was roomy and comfortable, with a great view of the lake. The breakfasts and dinners were included in the price, and were everything you could want (they'll also make up a box lunch to order for a very reasonable price).... More

My first time at Hemlock Hall, I arrived with a friend by canoe from Old Forge, 35 miles away. A thunderstorm whipped the lake into big, frothy waves and after a hair-raising ride in a cross wind, we took refuge in a boathouse until the storm passed. By the time we beached at Hemlock Hall, it was dark and the... More

Been the the Adirondacks many times, but this was the first time at Hemlock Hall. We enjoyed it so much. The scenery is beautiful and even though we had gray, cool and somewhat rainy weather, we enjoyed the lodge, the people, the staff. The food is wholesome and abundant, served family style and everyone gets to talk at the dinner... More

How long until next year? Another great "home" experience with Paul and his staff. Seven years visiting and counting. Each year we wonder can it get any better? It does! This year we had a treat with Pete and a Saturday night magician's performance for kids and all the other guests. What fun. Our daughter's family shares our time at... More

My husband and I have vacationed with our kids in a cabin on this lake forever, but this year decided to do something different: We left the family at home and tried out both of the camp resorts that offer meals with lodging on the water. What a revelation Hemlock Hall was. This is how all lodging should be run.... More

The folks who own this place have thought of everything! It just doesn't get any better than this. Friendly staff, delicious and plentiful home-cooked food, nice rooms, plenty free recreation available, and a great place to relax. The staff will help you with any need you may have. It feels like a home and not a tourist attraction. Prices are... More

Hemlock Hall is an old fashioned woodsy Adirondack camp resort. It has a pretty lake front with a little beach and lots of Adirondack chairs scattered about. There are kayaks, canoes, and rowboats you can take out on the lake. Blue Mountain Lake is beautiful. Many of the guests visit year after year. We were the only first timers we... More
