This was the second camp we stayed at, for more of an individualised camp experience during a family trip to Botswana. It is one of 4 camps owned by the same family within this Delta concession. You arrive here after a half hour drive from their private airfield, a flight experience worth the trip by itself. This is a water... More

As someone who has made a number of trips to Africa and seen the Big Five, my purpose in going to Botswana was primarily for the water experience, and especially to take a mokoro ride, which to me was the ultimate Botswana experience. So we went in May, when the water levels were relatively high and the prices still not... More

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience! Ronald was a passionate and knowledgeable guide who was the best we met on our 3 safaris. Wildlife viewing was impressive...particularly the number of hippos in the area. When you arrive and go on safari each day you'll cruise along the hippo highway (a path made... More

Kwetsani was the first of 4 camps that we visited on a recent trip to Botswana and Zambia and was a good choice to start the holiday with. The camp itself was lovely - built on stilts in the bush, and at this time of year it's very dry bush although it's underwater in the rainy season. We had an... More

When we booked our trip with TravelBeyond, this camp was included in the itinerary. There were not too many reviews, and most of those suggested it was a great camp for "birders." Since we weren't birders, I was not overly excited to go here, but thought it would be a good balance of areas and ambiance for our other 3... More

Our first camp was Duba Plains which was incredibly wonderful. Wonderful management, location, animal sightings etc. We then were scheduled for Kwetsani for 3 nights. Very cordial managers, friendly staff, beautiful lodge and food. Well, it started off great…..we were picked up at the airstrip on Jao and took a boat to Kwetsani. We chilled for the afternoon and then... More

We stayed here for our 3rd camp in Botswana and after a mobile safari, we were very happy with the standard of Kwetsani, especially an indoor shower in winter! The food was excellent - generous brunches after morning safari, delicious afternoon 'high tea' (loved the sausage rolls and cakes) and tasty 3 course dinners. The staff did a great job... More

We arrived in the Delta (my first experience in this region of Botswana) on 19 June. OB, one of the camp guides was waiting for us at the air strip and was very friendly, informative and accomodating. The camp itself is a LOVELY camp that is perfect for relaxation and a bit more personal touch than larger camps. There are... More

Our experience at Kwetsani was amazing. The Okavango Delta was very flooded so we boated to an island or our game drives. (After landing in our tiny plane--quite a ride over the Okavango Delta!) We saw many zebra, giraffes, impalas, baboons and LIONS!!! A family of lions was living right at the camp including cubs and we got about 10... More

The camp is located on an island in the Okavango Delta. Because the water was too deep for the Land Rovers, a motor boat transferred me from the airstrip to the camp of five tents. The boat sped through narrow and winding channels lined with tall papyrus, grass, and water lilies. The same channels were used by hippopotamuses after sunset.... More
