I recently brought a private group to ngonma safari lodge and we all thoroughly loved it. Food, service and rooms are all lovely and in keeping with their fabulous surroundings. I'd recommend it to everyone!

From the moment we were in the truck with Bevan from the airport we knew this adventure was going to be amazing. In the less than one hour drive through the park to the lodge.. we saw elephants, zebras, buffalo and antelope.. so much for being worried that we wouldn't see animals on this trip!! We pulled off the highway... More

Absolutely spectacular. The view from the lodge - and your room is just stunning. Literally hundreds of animals on the game drives - mostly buffalo, elephants, zebras and giraffes - saw a few lions as well. You can see animals right from the lodge as well. The staff was magnificent and the food was great. My wife and I stayed... More

I stayed here with my son and daughter for three nights at the end of March. The facility, food and location were fabulous and the nicest of 4 "safari" lodges we stayed at; it was nice to have a few days of wifi, air conditioning, and a la carte service. Incredible views from the restaurant and from the villas. The... More

Ngoma was the second of four stops on our African honeymoon. I arrived to the Lodge in fairly rough shape, having discovered my body was NOT a fan of the malaria pills I'd been taking. Sick or not, when we initially stepped from the dusty road into the main lodge and dining room, the view of the shockingly beautiful landscape... More

Have just returned (9th May) from Botswana and our final two nights were spent at this utterly delightful lodge. Ngoma (means drum) gave us a superb welcome and we were looked after with genuine warmth and high efficiency by Mina and her staff. Nothing was to much trouble and I would give every aspect of the lodge 5 stars. The... More

We have a short list of hotels/lodges in the world that we would love to come back to again and this is now on that list. We were there 3 nights in early April 2013 and couldn't fault the 5* plus treatment from acting manager Cathy and all the staff. The location, views, accommodation, food, service etc were amazing. The... More

We absolutely loved this lodge - the view as you enter the thatched building is just fantastic as it is set high up on a hill with a really wide view of the Chobe River. We visited in May and the landscape looked absolutely beautiful following the rainy season. I certainly didn't expect to see such a sparkling blue river... More

Our family stayed at this Lodge/Resort for 2 nights in April this year. Cathy greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were exceptional with bar fridge and air conditioning and large windows overlooking the Chobe River. Each room had its own private plunge pool and outdoor shower all overlooking the valley below where you could see the wildlife... More

Wow, what a great review...thank you in Australia! How lucky you were to see five lions at our waterhole at dusk, a great experience. But would you believe that on two occasions just this week a pride of lions has come to drink out of one of the plunge pools outside a suite at 02:00. We all have to be... More
