Loved this hotel and were able to get an extra night here at short notice, so thanks to the staff for being so accommodating with our request. We booked the large duplex room with fireplace which was so comfortable and roomy, if a little dark ( lights seemed a bit dim ) ! Good big comfortable bed , fridge and... More

This place was way better than what we bargained for. The staff was very friendly, the room was huge and very clean. The bed was pretty comfortable. The only down side is the pillows were uncomfortable but everything else was awesome! More

Despite all the good reviews for El Pueblo Lodge from TripAdvisor, this is one property that did not meet expectations. We were given a room on the second floor that was huge, but was cooled with a tiny box window airconditioner. It was summer and the room was hot. It never cooled down. We sweated our way through the night.... More

If you base your stay on room then this is the place for you. the floor is horrible and the bed mediocre. It did have a fully closed front room from the bedroom complete with a Murphy Queen bed (worse than the main bed). It had that old room musk that I just can't stand. the Fire Place helps if... More

There are a limited selection of accommodations in Taos. You can choose from corporate chains or independent lodgings. El Pueblo is a non-corporate property with a family feel. Staff is helpful and doesn’t make you feel like an outsider. I chose a fireplace room. Rooms are very large, with the ground floor rooms having a back door and a front... More

We stayed here for one night during a quick Taos ski getaway. It was perfect for us. Loved the cookie platter at the front desk at check-in, along with coffee and hot cocoa always available. The breakfast buffet was a good way to start our day. The outdoor hottub was really hot and a great way to unwind after a... More

Me and some girlfriends stayed here while we were in Taos snowboarding. The rooms were very clean and spacious (which is saying a lot...four girls with tons of bags plus boarding gear). Definitely an older hotel but has been kept up well. The staff is very friendly and always gave us great recommendations on places to eat, shopping, and other... More

I took Tripadvisor's recommendation and decided to stay in a double queen bed room with a buddy of mine the night before we were going to ski. Let me list the good things first: nice staff, unique grounds and southwest decor, nicely redone bathroom, decent continental breakfast, and good location relative to the ski area. However, I rated this poorly... More

El Pueblo Lodge was a relaxing place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. One wing allowed pets. Rooms have a private patio fronting a grassy area which our bulldog and chihuahua loved. We had dinner out one night but picked up some local gourmet items from a nearby food store for dinner on our patio the second... More

This is an older property with standard motel rooms. Beds are a bit firm, pillows are flat. Rooms have decent decor with nice, updated southwestern style tilework. Bathrooms don't have any kind of exhaust, so if you want fresh air you need to open the window. Breakfast is pretty standard continental fare. We visited in the winter but it looks... More
