We booked Buffalo Hills for two nights, through the Portfolio Collection, for both good accommodation and the game tours. The accommodation was good, spacious and clean. We were very comfortable. We arrived mid afternoon and, having been given details for the evening game drive and instructions not to leave the lodge for safety reasons, were pretty much left to entertain... more

A good place to go. The staff are excellent. There is a clear passion about wildlife and conservation which comes accross with enthusiasm from the staff. Yes you will get up close to rhinos, giraffe, buffalo etc but this isnt just about seeing animals. Its a real learaning experience brought to life by the team. The rooms are great: we... more

We stayed here for three nights and had a very pleasant stay. BH is not in the top league of safari lodges, but then it doesn't charge their prices, nor have their pretensions.
