It was good for what it was I had no complaints. staff was nice enough and the room was decent. I really didn't spend much time in the room because Ruidoso is such a nice place. it was close enough to the race track, casino, and hiking that I had no problems with the location. More

Great place for couples to get away. Peaceful quite & owners took care of our every need! Daily room service was greatly appreciated. Large rooms....loved the jacuzzi, bed was large & very comfortable. Amazing decor and loved sitting in the front porch & watching the deer!!! Awesome room- great ambiance. The lodge is very clean & has a rustic charm. Nice linens and loved the in-room jacuzzi. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our questions about local restaraunts. We had a lovely time & would stay again. More

We stayed at Black Bear Lodge several years ago and would definitely go back. Friendly staff. Very cozy lodge with great rooms -- thick, warm down comfoters, in-room jacuzzi and gas fireplace... nice for a romantic getaway. More
