Stayed at Rio Colorado 1 bedroom cabin during the Red River Songwriter's Festival. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the Motherlode Saloon. The cabin was clean and cozy. It is rustic so don't expect it to be a Ramada, but it was comfortable and I like being able to cook some meals rather than eat out so much.... More

To describe our stay...extremely unsettling, embarassing & regretted! On saturday night some friends of ours who were staying at Bandana properties stopped by to say hello & had been there for no more than 15 minutes. Our guests had with them their 10lb puppy whom they mistakenly let out of the cabin for no more than 10 minutes. When they... More

Worst experience with management ever!!! My wife and I stopped by to visit a couple friends at their cabin, we had been there no more than 15 minutes, within that time we let our small 10 pound puppy out to use the bathroom. After a few minutes we opened the door to let the dog back in, and shortly after... More

Just spent our second Christmas at Rio Colorado Lodge, and planning for next year. Friendly people, clean rooms. Love the daily trek of deer and rabbits.Thinking about adding a summer stay this year! Close enought to all the town activities, but secluded and quiet. Our kind of place!

What a great, clean rustic lodge. The perfect get away! Great views and the river ran in front of our cabin. We chose the most secluded cabin since and it was awesome. Deer came walking by, wild daisy's grew in the yard and we were nestled at the bottom of the mountains. We grilled fresh trout that was caught at... More

We can't say enough to capture how great the Rio Colorado is - perfect location, well kept grounds and cabins, wonderful trout fishing in their stocked pond, and a trail right in back of the cabin that you can use to take your 4 legged friends on long walks in the woods. The river also runs right through the middle... More

The first time I stayed at Rio Colorado was in August 2011 after a reservation at another place fell through. The only thing they had then, as well as when we went in July, was a cabin they didn't really advertise because it was, more or less, more "rustic" than their other cabins. Well, it was perfect both times in... More

We used to go to colorado every year, estes park. Not any more, love the cabins, people are friendly, fishing is great. we always get cabin 21, love the seclusion. You can keep Colorado and thier rude, people, give me Red River anyday. The rates are great in the off season, and less crowded.
