My husband and I tried a few Hotels/Motels in Southern NM.
And we liked the La Quinta at 790 Avenida De Mesilla the best.
The maintenance is not always fast, but trying to do their best.
I personally loved the ambiente of the Hotel and the reasonable price.

Ok, it is nothing fancy, but my rating is based on it's pet-friendliness. This stay, I had a room in the main building- definitely was nicer than the annex building. In the morning after walking the dogs, I returned to my room through the lobby. I noticed breakfast was out & was trying to grab a bit of food to...

This hotel is the older sister of the two that are barely half a mile apart. With a smaller facility and no elevators, it was hard to bring our chinchillas to the second story. The management was really helpful, but the upkeep of the facility (including some needed renovations) would be nice. Would stay here again only if the price...

Any time we traveled through New Mexico, we'd stay at either of the La Quintas in Las Cruces. We like the convenience of the sliding doors to the grassy area for our dog, but prefer the updated rooms in the La Quinta next to Cracker Barrel. Both are pet friendly, both are comfortable, both are cheap! Any issues we had...

As others here have commented, the rates are among the lowest. However, while Travelocity had a 3 star rating for the northern site (two facilities 2 blocks apart), I wouldn't consider it more than a fading 2 star. The lobby is musty. My room was clean but had stained carpets and peeling paint. It is an aging facility that needs...

Nothing fancy, but clean, with nice staff and good service. Close to everything in Las Cruces. Connected to parking lots of Wal-mart, Cracker Barrel. Close to campus of NMSU ( 1-2 miles). Close to Old Mesilla.

I used to live in Las Cruces and for many years, this was our go-to recommended hotel for relatives and friends who visited us. We never had any complaints or problems about the hotel - it was always comfortable and affordable and offered enough amenities for everyone.
I left Cruces several years ago and recently returned for a short weekend...

There's a lot to like about this particular La Quinta ... and I recommend it. I've stayed here on several different trips to Las Cruces and found it to be a fine choice each time.
First, they offer rooms at a relatively low price. I paid about $62/night (before taxes). Other motels in LC with equivalent amenities seem to charge...

I stayed here 5 nights. It's an older facility but seems well-maintained. I chose this motel because the AARP rate fit my limited state government travel allowance. I stayed in the annex where I had a first-floor room because a room in the in the main building would have been on the second floor and there's no elevator. My room...
