We have stayed at most of the B&B's in the Jemez area. This offers the most room, privacy and amenities for the money. We stay in Jemez at least once a year and this is our new favorite. Beautiful cabins, friendly staff, privacy. Best value for couples getaway or families. More

Not what we had expected, but the welcome by Terry and his charming dog, as well as the big quirkily designed room and huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub for two, made up for the harrowing drive at night in the snow. Slept well. Arose to sparkling snow on the mountains, the cars, the porch. Delightful company at breakfast with delicious... More

They offer a nice continental breakfast with hot coffee plus a delious typically New Mexican freshly made green chili, egg, sausage and cheese breakfast burrito plus Orange juice and fruit . We loved... More

I must admit up front that it has been several years since we spent two idyllic nights enjoying the Ponderosa room at the lovely Elk Mountain Lodge. I am thrilled to read more recent reviews that echo my sentiments completely (except for the rude comments about Terry's beloved furbaby) Our entire experience could not have been more satisfying - from... Thank you Terry for a wonderful time in the Jemez mountains. Our stay was too short but it was very peaceful. We always enjoy the Ponderosa room because of the view from the porch. Your version of breakfast burritos were a hit with both of us and we are now trying to replicate them at home. We both enjoyed seeing... More

Our Country Lace room had lots of character and a huge bathroom. Terry made excellent breakfast burritos and even accomidated to our vegetarian diet (be sure to let him know ahead of... More

Wonderful host (Terry), and very well behaved dog! A nice relaxing setting. Secluded hot tub under the stars........If you are in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area, you are a little over a scenic hour away. Summer fires were no where near Jemez Springs. More

My husband and I love Jemez - we love to hike the mountains, fish the streams and explore! As much as we love Jemez, I didn't think it was possible to love it even more. But thanks to Terry, Kody, and Elk Mountain Lodge, we do! My husband and our friends decided to take me there to help lift my... More

We have been camping in the Jemez mountains for years, and love the area. So many forest roads to explore, trails to hike, and streams to fish. We have always found the poeple from the area to be pleasant and friendly. Terry was by far one of the nicest, and down to earth people we have met from the area,... More

we picked this as a stopover from farmington to sante fe - looked interesting and good location since we were stopping a chaco on the way. the place (and the owner) is fantastic. we had a room with a rock spilling shower - i say a room but it was easily as big as my 3 room condo. Kitchen, big... More
