Stayed here while traveling from back east to Tempe. It worked. Yea there are trains but they roll directly thru town and no matter where you stay you'll hear em'. We had been driving all day and I was tired. A short time after laying my head on the scratchy, flat pillows, the train went by. The motel is right next to the tracks at an intersection. When the whistle blared, it sounded like the train was coming through the room. Every 10 to 15 minutes another train came through.... more

I would never stay at this motel again. Furiture falling apart, plumbing doesn't work properly, had to remove toilet lid to flush. Made my reservation 2 months in advance and was quoted a price, then charged a different price upon arrival. Owner doesn't seem to care about the property or the customer. more

Older property not in a great area. I did not feel reallty safe there, secluded, dark, glad my car was still there in the morning. Room was OK, slept, took decent shower, and left as soon as possible. more
