stayed here over the christmas new year period and although i enjoyed the lazing by the pool ( 11 feet at the deep end, with diving board ) and its easy access to transport, airport and shopping malls, i found the ants in my room to be more than a little annoying.( tried various sprays but they still returned. )... This is a good hotel with great 24 hour food, very good staff and very secure - the rooms are functional and always clean. Unfortunately, the location means that the rooms pick up motor bike (tric) noise from two roads, especially early in the morning.

After my stay at Phoenix .. I check into purportedly best room but had trikes running over my head . God the noise nearly killed me . The hotel is all along the two roads so all rooms have a variety of decibel levels . Checked out the next day in to the Valentinos . Would love to stay there... More
