This budget hostel is located on the Southern end of the main street near a round point with a big green cabbage sculpture. Because of the location, is a little bite noisy sometimes. All the others good hotels I saw while staying there, were far from the center. This hostel was a suitable central option for exploring the surrounding areas... More

This place has one building for the higher priced hotel rates while the other section has rooms for the budget conscious. The budget rooms have shared bathrooms. Generally, the room and bed are clean. The hotel staff is very knowledgeable about where to visit and provide maps for the various places. They are very helpful, even lending out helmet, padlock... We stayed at Wisma Sibayak for 2 nights in Feburary 2013. We were with a party of four. One couple had a room for 100.000 Rupees per night with private bathroom and the other couple one with shared bathroom for 50.000 Rupees. The bathroom wasn’t the only difference, the more expensive room also looks and is more luxurious (nice bed/furniture... More

The guesthouse is a charming, well located building in the middle of Berastagi. Our room was large, clean and had a balcony, as do all of the rooms in the guesthouse. We also had our own bathroom with cold water shower. Hot shower can be found in a separate building in the yard, costs 10 000rp - not bad. No... More

The staff is very nice and knowledgeable about the town and what you can do around there. The location is good, but noisy, traffic and the school next door where they start singing very loudly before 7am. But the worst is that it is not clean, especially the bathrooms, very filthy. I do not think that they are clean very... More

I've got some mixed feelings about Wisma Sibayak. The location is central, if noisy. The school next door starts with very loud christian singing (amplified!) at 7 in the morning, and the hotel is at a busy crossroads. Staff was very kind, helpful and jolly. The food, especially breakfast, very good. The fridge was always well stocked with cold Bintangs.... More

Wisma Sibayak guesthouse is perfectly located at the end of the central road through the town and therefore, within walking distance of all places to eat and shops. At 100,000 per room, it is a very good deal, especially the rooms on the upper level with balcony over a small garden. Rooms are clean, but you do need to pay... More

The owner of the hotel has several hotels in Berastagi and one in Tongging. I advice you to stay far away from Tongging unless you want to be eaten up by bed bugs. Instead of dealing with the problem unfortunately the owner refused them having the bed bugs which is not only stupid but also very poor. In Europe and... More

We chose this place because it was a number one choice in Berastagi according to Tripadvisor and it was okay for one night but I wouldn't stay here longer. Service was very good and friendly but...we had a room room with a private bathroom, paid 100 000 idr and the room was quite big and beds were okay but the... More
