Myself and husband stayed here or two nights with our two children aged 6 and 9. Apart from the girls being completely mesmorised by the two dogs Pedro and Sammy, he accomodation was clean and homely with fabulous breakfast and a nice swimming pool. Both Filippe and Marianne were very welcoming and Swellendam was a fabulous place to stay.

My Wife and I stayed for one night the owners were very friendly real helpful, the Lodge was clean and quiet, Breakfast was plentiful fresh eggs bacon and fruit, the town was safe and clean, I would recommend staying

Really nice place. We stopped there for a night on a trip through the wine lands. The welcome was great. The setting lovely, the rooms fine and the service superb. The breakfast was lovely too. Thoroughly recommend it. Would definitely return.

Small but nicely decorated rooms around a nice pool. Beautiful garden and excellent breakfast. Each room has its own table and two chairs next to the room door. But you can also sit in the the living room or on one of the two big tables on the terrace. Very nice and helpful people.

We stayed for 2 nights between Xmas and New Year - great! Everything to our entire satisfaction - no weaknesses or problems at all. Clean and modern rooms, great breakfast, good location as all ameneties and restaurants are within walking distance. Would always come back.

Hosts Marion and Fillip are friendy and energetic. The location of the Lodge is terrific, with off street parking. There are several lovely attractions to visit nearby and it is an easy walk into the shops and local restuarants.
