We've had an excellent stay at the Coach House. Sharon, the owner is one of a kind. We've been traveling out of season so we were allowed to bring our little girl with us. Sharon has been wonderful: Caring our child around showing her the garden, the dog, the fishes. She really is amazing and super nice! All of her... More

Nice place in a central location. Kind and accommodating owner. Good breakfast and a comfortable room. Weather on arrival was terrible but Sharon had kindly left the heater on so we were greeted with a warm room. Thoughtful. A thumbs up.

We arrived in Franschhoek rather late on a Tuesday night in early May. Sharon was so welcoming and we were lucky to stay in the only room she had available. It was so cosy, the location fantastic and Sharon was very helpful. We highly recommend this B&B and will definitely stay here again! Thanks Sharon and Charlie and Smiley! :)

Stayed for one night and this was a very good value place. Sharon was a very helpful host and the room in the back yard was fine. The breakfast was more than expected and I really recommend this place. Downside - the lack of shelves in the bathroom and a bedside light shade that blocks the light.

We stayed at the coach house for four nights around New Years. Lovely hosts, nice rooms and a great location. The "back yard" is a great place to relax. Breakfast was delicious. Great bargain too. Due to availability when we booked we had to stay at two different places. After our stay at the Coach House, we moved to a... More

Franchhoek is our last stop on our 6 weeks tour of South Africa and we always stay at The Coach House for about 5 or 6 nights. Its perfect in every way. We are always given a warm welcome by Sharon and Charlie who are so charming and helpful in every way. The rooms in the garden are large and... More

Sharon made us very welcome at the Coach House. the garden room opened onto the garden and pool, plenty of shade in the heat...Room itself very comfortable, with wine and beer in fridge. Friendly informal atmosphere. Breakfast was good...alll very reasonably priced in a quite expensive village. An excellent base for exploring this stunning valley, and some of the wineries... More

Spent 2 nights here during our honeymoon in South Africa. It was absolutely scorching hot the days we were in Franschoek (38-40 C if the thermometer on the car was to be believed). We arrived after a master wine-tasting session at Fairview winery in Paarl (highly recommended), and were definitely ready for some comfort and air-con by then! The large,... More

Although we were comfortable in a garden room, the Coach House didn't have the wow factor of the other properties we stayed in. Sharon was a good host and recommended places to eat and things to do. The fridge was stocked with a bottle of wine, two bottles of beer, and two cans of coke when we arrived which were... More

We booked two rooms at short notice and were delighted with our choice. Clean and comfortable rooms with air con, mini bar with a bottle of wine for only 50R - couldn`t resist! Wifi worked well, it was almost like we were staying in their home ( well I guess we were) we were made so welcome! Great breakfast to... More
