I stayed here because, there was a work related event being held in one of the ballrooms. I stayed for two night. Because I was unfamiliar with the area, I was able to remain in the hotel. The best part was their restaurant- Archives! It was very yummy! All the food was made fresh. I work in the food industry,... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our downtown hotel and restaurant MBD223! I will certainly pass along your positive remarks to the chef and associates at Archives. Our restaurant is a top dining choice not only for our guests, but for the entire downtown area. In addition, I’ve noted your comments regarding the condition of the hotel. I’m... More

If you're meeting with the State, this a close and solid place to stay. OK food for breakfast, OK bar at night, good rooms and service. What you expect. More

Location was the top reason for choosing this hotel, and we'll probably use it again, if only for the superb service; more on that later. That said, there were a few issues. We are older & asked for an accessible room which had advantages & some drawbacks. Everything is on wheelchair level. Hanger bar in closet, hooks on bathroom door--everything!... More

I stay here when I have business in Trenton, and while there's no particular pizzazz about the place to beckon me back each time, it is a good decent place to stay, and conveniently located to downtown. I find the rooms clean, comfortable, and quiet. My only criticism is that I've found service in the restaurant a bit uneven especially... More

This is nice hotel. It is older and looks like it is worn down. The edges of the elevator carpet were worn and dirty. The front glass doors rattled with being opened too many times. The rooms were clean and decent. What ever the hotel lacks in physical attributes, it makes up for in service from its staff. This hotel... More

I recently traveled to Trenton for an event. We stayed at the hotel for two nights, Friday and Saturday, October 21st-23rd. Let me tell you I have never been to a hotel where the "partying occurs" by young people into the early hours of the morning. On Saturday morning I complained to the front desk staff and they said, they... More

I am pretty familiar with the Trenton area. I'm sorry to say that most of it isn't very nice. However, the Trenton Marriott at Lafayette Yard is actually quite nice. This is easily a 3-star hotel and would compare favorably with any other 3-star chain. The front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and... More

Hotel is in great shape in downtowm Trenton. You can walk a few blocks to the capital building. The room had a great bed, nice desk and bath. The room was big and well appointed. The TV was not an HD and was small. There is NO free WiFi, th eworst complaint on the visit plus they charge for parking. This... More

As I always share, I am a Platinum Member of the Marriott for over ten consecutive years so I have a pretty good understanding of the Marriott brands. I came here on a Saturday night along with my three year old son. First experience, there is no free parking so you have to enter in the hotel public parking garage... More

Nice, clean, well-kept Hotel. Parking was convenient and the rooms spacious, well-appointed and clean. Staff was friendly. Did not eat there or take advantage of the breakfast. We booked the room with paid-for parking which I thought was a good deal. Nice secure parking in a garage for the car. Although not the hotels fault, there are few places to... More
