We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Amethyst Beach Motel in NJ. The rooms were clean with a kitchen area, heated pool, very friendly and efficient staff, gas grills for guests to use with a nice picnic area to eat. Continental breakfast was good. The motel was great the staff very friendly and the room outstanding, the beds were made everyday, house cleaning was great its in a very excellent location if you what to go to the beach or broadwalk. We appreciate helpful suggestions, and honest criticism as that is how we continue to improve. Situations such as this do occur, sometimes due to coolers brought into rooms and leaking although we provide a refrigerator and microwave in each room. We took measures to correct the dampness. The Amethyst Beach is a great place to stay. I stay there every year during the powerboat race. The Amethyst is a great supporter and sponsor of the race every year.
