I normally have a high tolerance for a crummy motel, but I just had to join TripAdvisor just to warn others. My family and I got down to Point Pleasant late on a Saturday and figured we'd try to find a place to stay. I should have known something was wrong when they had vacancies available on one of the... My boyfriend and i plus another couple booked two rooms for a long weekend at the this motel and thank god we booked two rooms because one room was totally unusable with little tiny bugs in the shower. Both rooms smelled horrible, there was hair that was not ours on the sheets with cigarrette burns in them, which shows they... More

This is the dirtiest place I have ever seen. Looks like there hasn't been maintanence done in years. The only good thing about this place was that the manager was pleasant. More

My girlfriend and I wanted to stay a couple nights and at random chose this place. The price was cheap and we figured, how bad could it be? After telling us they had vacancy and then paying for two nights the woman tells us that the only room they have is directly adjacent to the office. She told us that... More

My girlfriend, and I were looking for a place to stay down the shore for the weekend, spare of the moment get away type of weekend, we were given a king size bed by the pool, very nice, and clean, the fact that is non-smoking is a plus. We enjoyed the free passes to the ocean and appreciated the very... More

Friendly Staff, great prices, cant beat that, and on top of all that we had a nice continental breakfast provided by the hotel and passes to the beach free of charge. Wonderful experience, especially with 3 small children. We will be coming back next year. Debbie More

We were staying for one night, thank goodness, we couldn't stand two. We checked in. The room was not as expected, with a tile floor in the bedroom, and a filthy upholstered chair that we swore we would NEVER sit on. We turned on the air checked out the TV and headed out to eat. When we got back to... More

Resort, ha!!! It smelled ( bottle of febreze we bought didn't even help), was dirty( floors were soo slippery), and everything was broke. The owner came to our room 10pm at night ( waking our daughter) to tell us we had to move because they booked our room to someone else. Then our new room had a broken bed (... More

We called ahead to this motel o ask how far away from the beach the motel was (this was before i had a computer to look on, 2004), well, the one half owner told us it was "right down the street! and if we didn't want to walk a trolly drives around every so often to pick up motel stayers... More

The Harbor Lights is the cheapest place to stay at Point Pleasant but maybe not worth the 40 dollars savings. I stayed at the Harbor Lights with a girlfriend for a weekend. We ran into a lot of problems with our room. One light bulb went out, another lamp didn't even have a light bulb in it. The tile floor... More
