The American Inn Motel in North Wildwood is a great place to stay if you want to be near the beach/boardwalk. It's directly at the entrance of the boardwalk at the north end. In early September, they offer great rates for Sunday-Thursday nights. Kids are back in school and the off-season is starting, so they're slow during the week. I... More

“My go to place for the Jersey Shore”

I have been staying at the American Inn every summer for almost ten years. They just recently put new carpeting and furniture in the rooms. Just got back from a 5 day vacation at this hotel. It has the classic Wildwood hotel charm to it with a patriotic theme of red white and blue. My wife and I stumbled upon the American Inn six years ago when we decided to see what Wildwood was all about. We stayed two nights, and loved it.
