We planned on finding a nice place to stop overnight on a return from a lengthy weekend trip, and we like B& B's, so we picked out The Wooden Duck. It was a winning choice. Karl & Beth were wonderful hosts, very accommodating & helpful, since we were not familiar with the area. The Inn was neat, clean & homey.... More

The Wooden Duck was a great place for a quick getaway from the city. The setting is lovely (especially the private balcony in Golden Eye), the location is perfect and the hospitality is warm and fun. Highly Recommended.

The Wooden Duck seems as though it would be fine for a weekend getaway, but it is not where you want to go for business. For one thing, it is off the beaten path. We were trying to find it in the dark, and it was a challenge. That also means that it is far from where I needed to... More

We want to thank this guest for his candid review of our property. Our only issue with it is that he has mentioned an Internet problem that no longer exists. Unfortunately, he did not make us aware of the issue. It was not until after his visit, when a subsequent guest mentioned a weak and inconsistent signal, that we discovered... More

We recently spent 4 nights at the Wooden Duck. We went with high expectations and were surprised on the upside on all fronts. Karl and Beth are perfect hosts, they made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. The rooms are spacious, luxurious and clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable. We went to New Jersey to mountain bike... More

There are quicker ways to get to Boston. We enjoyed seeing a more scenic part of NJ and loved the B and B. Great food, helpful and welcoming hosts and interesting guests from as near as NYC and as far away as Cape Town, South Africa. Karl and Beth know how to weave people together through good food, helpful ideas... More

We had a lovely stay. The breakfasts were delicious. The inn is secluded enough to be in a quiet environment, yet close enough to a wide variety of restaurants and activities. Overall, we thought it was perfect! Thank you, Karl and Beth!!

This was the first time we stayed at a bed and breakfast and it certainly won't be the last, nor will it be the last at this one. The inn was gorgeous and our room was very homey. The innkeepers/owners were incredibly hospitable, incredibly friendly and were very helpful. The service is excellent and the breakfast was incredible. I would... More

Great location (for nature lovers and those who want to get away from it all but still have really good food available in neighboring towns). Fabulous breakfast (the owners promise to release a cookbook within the next year with their incredible recipes). Lovely and gracious hosts who can direct you to the exact restaurant you're in the mood for and,... More

Delighful experience. Great room, great hotel, great place. Very quite, surrounded by a big forest with deers and birds, the owner is a retired former executive of a big multinational company and knows very well how to treat his guests. The service is excellent. Special mention deserves the breakfast: traditional but innovative, mixing fruits, eggs, and diferent natural juices. I... More

This was the first time my husband and I stayed at the 'Wooden Duck". The owner/inn keepeers were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very tastefully decorated with warm country decor. The entire Inn was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and not something you would make for yourself routinely. We will definately return to the "Wooden Duck" as soon as... More
