we stayed for 2 weeks and were evacuated due to the Hurricane, losing 2 nights of our vacation. When we enquired for a credit or refund we spoke to the owner Chip Menz who started complaining about our tent we had (which was a screenhouse) due to the excessive amount of mosquitos. and did not want to refund our money.... This was our first camping trip in our newly purchased used 2002 Flagstaff pop-up. It turned out to be a Griswald type of trip. While opening the camper, the main cable snapped (ten year old camper.... it was bound to snap at some point). The maintenance guys from the campground and one of the owners came over and muscled the... More

My family and I went to Big Timber Lake for our first time this year. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The facilities were so clean! The whole campground was beautiful. I can't wait to come back next year! More

I wanted to write this review, because I have saw negative reviews on this campground. When we arrived the check in staff was great and nice, pleasant and full of knowledge. I found my campsite to be big, woody and firepit with ring already there. The bathroom that was close to me was air condition and very clean. I have... More

We camp often, and this is the first time we've been to BTL. Pros= Plenty of activities for the children, free coffee in the morning, a good size swimming pool, available canoeing, and mini golf. Cons= The staff was not helpful, and very rude when we asked for anything (we locked our keys in the car and they were so... More

The people were very friendly. I took advantage of the Aqua exercise class in the morning and got to meet some fun people. The other campers we met became friends. The pull throughs are nice and convient or if you like the other sites are very level and spacious. There are walking areas which I took our dog for a... More

This has been one of the best camp grounds in south jersey i have ever been too! the staff is so friendly and helped my husband when we first got there with our new camper. We got there and my husband was having some trouble backing our new camper in. I went to the office to give my husband some... More

We just returned from our trip at Big Timber Lake and we had an excellent time!!!! Tons of activities for the kids, clean facilities, and a very large campsite with plently of shade. Its a little pricey but we feel it was worth it for all the fun our family had together. The staff was very helpful in directing us... More

An okay campgroup. The place has great potential and a nice wooded area. The biggest problem is the nickel & dime stuff. Just about everything is a extra small charge, even 25 cents to take a five minute shower. One dollar to borrow a beach tag for the day, but they run out by 9am so get there when the... More

The restroom facilities at this camping "resort" are beyond filthy. Urine and feces covered the floors & toilets and the staff cleans them only 1 time per day (and not very well either). The campsites are small, not cleared and infested with mosquito's, pincher bugs, locust etc. They charge top dollar for the smallest sites with no privacy at all,... More
