I rented the second floor apartment and loved everything about it. Meticulously clean, perfectly located, charming, quiet and comfortable. I especially appreciated the obvious care that went into decorating and equipping the apartment. In my experience, weekly rentals tend to include only the most basic necessities. This apartment was stocked with decent cookware, more than enough dinnerware and eating utensils,... More

Initially I thought an apartment would be ideal for a week at the beach. The options were slim booking only three months in advance so we knew we would be paying a pretty penny. The pictures online looked great so we felt confident yet just a bit scetical because another reviewer left running. Yes it's clean, it has AC. There... More

On a recent trip to Cape May, in the aftermath of a once in a lifetime snow storm, I stayed for three days at the charming and stately Abigail Adams. Eschewing my usual motel choices, I wanted to be right in the heart of the Historic District. Frankly, didn't know what to expect of a private apartment, and was really... More

We have been vacationing in Cape May for many years & every year we pick a different B&B or apartment to stay. We discovered the Abigail Adams garden apartment on line and went to see it in person and meet the owner last spring. It is perfect for 2 people...a kitchen, sitting area, 1 bedroom and bath. That's all we... More

We have been vacationing in the garden apartment for the past four years. We enjoy the place so much that for the last two years we extended our stay to two weeks. The garden apartment on the first floor has it's own private entrance, a full size kitchen/dining area, a living room with a pull out couch, and a full... More

Abigail Adams B & B by the Sea is really a lovely Victorian house located on one of the most beautiful streets in the Historic District of Cape May. We have stayed in the First Floor Garden Apartment for five summers in a row, usually for two weeks...(Cape May is so lovely, one week just isn't enough time!) The location... More

We stayed in the 2nd floor appartment. There was only one a/c in the bedroom, facing the TV, so we had to move the TV in order to cool the room. The kitched had a box fan, so all it did was blow hot air around.. not very comfortable. The worst of all were the ants... ants were all over... More

My husband surprised me by saying we are going away to Cape May. We were lucky to find Abigail Adams' Bed & Breakfast by the Sea. The Garden Apartment is charming and gracious in size. With a fully furbished bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen we were thrilled at our space. The location is beyond belief! One end of the... More

My family had a wonderful time staying at the Abigail Adams garden apartment. It was close to the beach, restaurants, bike rentals, and other attractions. It was clean and comfortable, and the owner was an excellent host. We look forward to staying here during our next visit to Cape May! More
