My husband and I spent two nights at the Mason Cottage in late December. The Inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We stayed in the Warne Suite which had a large sitting room with fireplace and tv. The room was very clean. The inn is located within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and... More

The spa suit was great, except for one draw back. The bed made a lot of noise every time you moved, however the spa room with thw big soaking tub was great. More

Having stayed at several Select Registry inns rated excellent, the best of which is just down the street from Mason Cottage, I must say that none of these has anything even equally superior to Mason Cottage. Sheree and I visited mid-week in off-off season and were the only guests in-house--probably in the entire town. The innkeeper spared nothing to make... More

We have been going to the Mason Cotage for several years. We just spent Thanksgiving week there and we just had to share what a wonderful experience staying there is. Patti, the Inn Keeper, takes care of everything! She cooks a fabulous breakfast each morning, makes and changes dinner reservations, arranges for masseuses, recommends restaurants and places to see, etc.... More

The Mason Cottage was beautifully decorated, but the warmth was otherwise lacking. Staying here was more like staying at a hotel than a B & B. We had hoped to chat with the management about things to do in Cape May, etc; but she seemed uninterested. The two-person soaking tub would have been great for two children, or two very... More

Wonderful location in Cape May! We could see the ocean from our bedroom (Davis Suite), close to the 'Mall' and all the other attractions. Parking might be a problem in the summer. The inn was in pristine condition (I'm a retired builder), nicely period furnished, very clean. Breakfast was 'spartan'...good but no choices as to juice, rolls, pastry, toast, etc. More

My wife and I just returned from quick 3-day, 2-night trip to Cape May, staying in the Mason Suite. After reading all the rave reviews here on TripAdvisor for the Mason Cottage, particularly for Patty and her hospitality and delicious breakfasts, we were very much looking forward to our visit. We were disappointed to say the least. Our stay at... More

Upon reading your review, it deeply saddens me to hear that you felt this way. As an innkeeper, it is a very difficult line to walk when gauging the amount of interaction a guest desires. Some guests want to keep solely to themselves, while others prefer more interaction from me and the other guests. I come across so many different... More

Our stay at The Mason Cottage was absolutely delightful. This B&B was exactly what we needed to celebrate our 5-yr wedding anniversary. The house was very warm and welcoming. We stayed in the Davis suite, which comes with a Jacuzzi and fireplace -- perfect for a romantic getaway. The robes and the bath amenities (especially the bath salts) added a... More

We arrived too late to enjoy the afternoon tea, but were shown by the owner, Patti, how to use the snack bar area off the kitchen anytime. We loved our romantic Victorian room on the second floor, the Madison, and had a peaceful rest. It's a short 3 blocks walk to the shopping area and even shorter to see the... More
