My husband and I stayed at the Periwinkle Inn over The Labor Day weekend to attend a wedding. It was charming. The stairs inside are almost straight up and would be hard for anyone with walking issues. The Inn is centrally located and it was easy to walk to the harbor, museums and restaurants. This hotel has a cash only policy. A reservation will be taken by credit card but when you arrive you must pay cash. This is very consumer unfriendly. Why carry around a thousand dollars in cash.
