This was my first visit to a B&B and I was not disappointed. I had booked the Melville Room (2 dbl beds) but was upgraded to the Emily Dickinson room (Queen w/fireplace) as there was a family wanting to book the larger room. My room was very cozy and comfortable and the gas fireplace was truly a plus as it... more

We were so looking forward our second stay here and, to our surprise, we were totally alone for two nights - no other guests and not even a host or hostess to greet us- just a note to say "sorry we are not there" and directions to our room ...kind of creepy. (we were there on Sunday and Monday nights... more

Management response from
Innkeeper-SVI, Owner

As these guests were advised when they made their reservation, we were closed Monday through Wednesday each week during the month of August this year while we had our old radiators switched to basebords so each room could be separately zoned. They chose to come anyway. They were noit alone. Two staff members provided breakfast for them and were here...

This Inn, while it's supposed to be wonderful when you get there, is difficult to work with. Their refund and cancellation policies are incredibly strict. My mom passed away very unexpectedly 8 days prior to my arrival. They said they wouldn't refund (even with a death certificate!), but they would schedule another weekend just for the three of us that... more

I stayed at the Inn back in the late 90s and it is now 2009 and I'm just getting back. It still has its charm and wonderful atmosphere. It has switched owners and Karen and Bern are the hosts with the most! They make you feel so at home and the food is great and the help is wonderful. Having... more

We had our small wedding (9 persons, including three young children) at the Snowvillage Inn, Snowville, New Hampshire on the July 4th weekend. The location of the Inn is just perfect - surrounded by mountains, lots of greenery, perennials and in a very private setting. It is also close to Crystal Lake, where there is a beautiful wedding chapel and... more

This is a place for couples, family getaways, and for adventure seekers. It's service is first class. Close to just about everthing. You can go skiing, moutain climbing, rafting, hiking, shopping in the outlets, photograph scenic landscapes, play golf, do it all. The snow village inn is a a treasure hidden away in the New Hampshire mountains. more

We recently had our wedding and reception at the Snowvillage Inn and everything was perfect! Karen and Bern go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and then some. The staff was very nice and helpful and the food was excellent. We would recommend this Inn for anyone who is looking for a great place... more

We had our August wedding weekend at The Snowvillage Inn. Karen & Bern were gracious hosts to all of our 60 guests. The Inn was the perfect setting overlooking the mountains and the food was raved about by all our guests. If you want peace and quiet and an escape from everyday life, I would def. recommend staying at Snowvillage.... more

My husband and I returned to the Snow Village Inn after nine years. The mountains remained beautiful and the Inn has added a spa!! We participated in the Bike the Whites program, which allows you to bike the White Mountains of NH while staying in local inns. Snow Village Inn was a perfect place for us to unwind and reconnect.... more
