The clerk was friendly and informative. He made a connection. The room was large with a kitchenette which was clean and up to date. I was pleased that we were on the second floor as requested and we didn't hear road traffic. Our room had a bed and breakfast feel to it.

About a kilometer away from the town center and next to freeway exit, well isolated, spacious, clean rooms, pleasant staff, plenty of towels, large beds, sufficient parking for cars, good internet connection

This is a lovely comfortable little motel style inn. It is not in Portsmouth proper though and you will need a car to get into town. But the rooms are clean, well appointed and large. Although the Port Inn is a bit of a ride into town it was a nice place to stay. The people at the desk were wonderful and the room was spacious and very clean. I would absolutely stay there again as parking in Portsmouth is extremely reasonable and this was an economical motel.
