Nordic Village was truly amazing, no other word can describe how much we enjoyed our stay, which by the way was entirely to short! October in NH is booked for leafpeepers so we booked this place as a last resort. Our one-bedroom was very nicely furnished and had all the amenities we needed. We stayed here with another family. There were 2 connected condos so that each family could have privacy and we shared a kitchen. The kids loved the pool. It's also minutes from Storyland. We plan to return next year. more

The complex is rather big, but we stayed there luckily in a quiet period. The rooms are OK, but not more than that. We went for a special birthday celebration and the staff was very helpful when we checked in. They gave us pamphlets on the resort and took the time to tell us about other attractions in the area. Like an earlier poster, we did not realise that we were booking a self contained unit/chalet in the woods. Having said that the setting is beautiful and peaceful although we were quite taken aback to get a leaflet about bear safety with our keys!
