The Balsams is hotel in need of repair. The location is magnificient but that about it. The rooms need reno (especially the bathrooms). Meals were OK but nothing out of this world. I would not recommend. more

This is the next best thing to a cruise. What a wonderful time my wife and I had. The service is excellent, the food is marvelous, the hotel is picturesque. There is golf, sports, pool, hiking, and entertainment at night. The perfect place to relax. I have already recommended to all my friends. more

Old and charming, with great activities, traveling artists on site, golf, tennis......the service was remarkable, I LOVED my Facial, and nail services.
