We arrived and checked into our room on the second floor-beautifully decorated and filled with lots of special goodys-home baked cookies, candies,bottled water and wine. I agree mostly with other reviews. You could not ask for a better location from which to visit the White Mountains. Beautiful grounds, but get a room with a real fireplace. stayed three nights in early september. We stayed in the Kinsman suite which was very pleasant with a balcolny overlooking the forrests and hills. The only downside was that the extractor fan from the kitchen is pretty clode and pretty loud. We had dinner two nights which was good although fairly bland.
