This was our second stay at the Jim Butler Motel. The service is friendly and the rooms are clean, warm, and comfortable. The motel is in the center of town, which makes it easy to get to the few places you might want to go to in Tonopah, like Whitney's Bookshelf. More

Not a bad place to spend the night. It's an older motel, but the rooms are clean and roomy, the aircon works, and the in-room coffee is better than most. Continental breakfast is minimal, but you can get a nice breakfast elsewhere for the amount you will save. More

Companion and I were a bit leery of staying here when we booked the reservation but with limited options we went ahead anyway. It was a pleasant surprise. We have now tried three motels in Tonopah-- National 9, Clown Motel, and Jim Butler. I really recommend that you cough up the extra bucks and stay here. The Best Western is a lot more expensive-- Jim Butler is a good choice for a decent night's sleep. The front desk clerk was friendly, helpful, and just a delight-- these things... More

When we pulled up, she knew it was us! 24 nice rooms, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, a/c, tv, free wi-fi. No parking for oversized vehicles or trailers. No hair dryers. More
