I had to evacuate from my home during a huge wildfire here in Reno and needed a place to stay that would let me bring my dog and cat. A friend told me about La Quinta and I was lucky to get a room. The desk guy (wish I'd gotten his name because he was very professional and friendly) got... More

The modest price of the room and the lack of any surprises (no bed bugs, no partying kids) made this a really good place to stay for the night. It beat staying in a casino, where the lot is a long walk away from registration and the rooms. We'll be coming back the next time we have to spend a... More

This is a great place to stay if you're flying out of Reno or even if you're not flying out. The easy in and out is more pleasant to me than staying in one of the big casino hotels where it can take an extra 30 or more minutes just to get your car and leave. The staff were very... More

While the hotel is in an industrial part of town, the local high school is right across the street, so not that ugly as indicated by others. The real benefit of this hotel is a true "dog area" with lots of grass, bushes, and packed sand. There are benches to sit on, and convinient dog disposal bags and cans. They... More

We noticed that we had Dish TV, the ABC channel will not come in & the audio on the NBC channel will not work. Our stay is over 2 wks long, we have told the mgr over a week ago & they continue to tell us that nothing can be done. I would like to relax & watch TV after... More

Needes and extra day in Reno, and wanted something different then a casino. Room was clean, in a fairly quiet area. The airport didnt bother me, which was good. The parking design is a little strange compared to other LQs, but no big. Room was clean, carpet needed a shampoo (like most hotels do). Good stay overall. More

We decided to go to Reno on short notice over labor day weekend, and were traveling with the dog, so options were pretty limited. This La Quinta reflected that. It wasn't really bad, kind of typical older airport hotel, and as others have mentioned, pretty dated. It's in a pretty ugly area, so I wouldn't choose to stay there again... More

We stayed on the second floor and it was quiet and clean. The hotel is a bit dated but I am ok with that as long as it is clean, safe and quiet. The pool area looks nice, we didn't use it and it has a nice privacy fence surrounding the area. The only traffic problem we had is when... More

After one week of Burning Man everyone craves a hot shower, comfortable beds, and decent Internet access. La Quinta in Reno offers all this at affordable rates in a convenient location. Close to I-80 and easy to find. Sushi place nearby. (Sushi Pier). Hotel has pool which looks nice and clean. I haven't used the pool though. Has laundry facilities... More

We stayed here on our way to South Lake Tahoe. Our front desk person (Bryan I think) was extremely helpful, giving us a top floor room away from the freeway. The room was basic, but very clean. The location is somewhat industrial, off the freeway and next door to a high school. The neighborhood seemed average. A band of high... More
