This was the most awfull experience I have ever had at a Hotel/ Casino in Laughlin. The rooms smelled like mold and mildew and the staff was beyond rude. The Pioneer looks a little out of place in Laughlin, all the other hotels and casinos look like big hotels and casinos and the Pioneer styled to look like a wild west town certainly stands out. Not my first time here or the last. Always freindy from the desk to the dealers. Yup, it's cheap to stay here (I'd even pay a little more, but don't tell them), but the rooms are large and clean. This is one of the nicest places on the river, the folks are all so great to the military groups that attend reunions there and the rooms are clean and worth the price. Paula & Odie always make us feel more than welcome. We will continue to return each year. Thanks for the memories. more

Old, beat up, it smells and the plumbing barely works. Surely you can find something better even if you have to pay a few more bucks. more
