I recently stayed at Excalibur (Jan 2012). I had booked a trip from Thursday evening to Tuesday evening. The primary hotel I was planning to stay at was ridiculously priced for that Thursday evening. Knowing that I was not landing in Vegas until 10:30pm and having to check out by 11am, it didn't make sense to pay over $149 for... More

I have been to the Excalibur more than 8 times through the years. It never ceases to amaze me. The facade of a Castle, even without Merlin and the Dragon working is enough to realize you`re in a Disneyland for adults and the rest of the family. You see kids with young parents, old people with their grandchildren. Young women... More

We booked our room through a convention site. We were told our room would be 160.00.. but oh no.... It was 240.00 after all this crap was added on for resort fees and taxes..once we went through the check in, off we went to our room... It's similar to a low grade Super 8 hotel.. no tub, only a shower..... More

I read reviews that were mainly negative and I was very nervous. The reviews were way off! The hotel was wonderful!! We stayed 1/21- 1/26/12 and it was WONDERFUL! All of the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. We did upgrade to a room in Tower II (widescreen room), which I think made all the difference. The casino is great... More

We stayed at the Excalibur from 13th - 23rd January 2012. It was great nice and clean and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and I would definitely stay there again. It is at the south end of the strip and is very close to the Deuce & SDX bus stops so getting around Vegas and the Strip is a... More

I read the most recent reviews and I was nervous. I had no need to worry. A group of 3 ladies were there and we had no problem! Room was big...got a free upgrade, people were pleasant and room was clean. It is not fancy..it does not present itself as fancy. It is a reasonably affordable hotel with casual gambling,... More

Beware of multiple staff purporting to offer you a concierge service to arrange discounted show tickets. They are trying to refer you into a timeshare selling process. We were hit-up about 6 different times. We were offered $380 worth of show tickets for $50, on condition that we joined a 2-3 hr bus trip and tour to Grandview and attend... More

My partner and I stayed in one of the widescreen spa rooms in November 2011. We thorouly enjoyed our dip in the spa after a day of walking up and down the strip, it was the perfect end to our day and relaxed us before bed. I would recommend it to anyone if they can afford the extra as it... More

My new sister in law and brother went to Las Vegas to get married. They booked a room with a view and then upgraded it. Upon arrival to the hotel they were told there were no upgrades left and there room was of the intersection not the strip. Front desk would not refund the money for an upgrade and would... More

in this town, why not stay someplace you really enjoy? Of the group of hotels that the Excalibur belongs to, this is the bottom of the pick. Once we'd stayed there and tried the buffet, we quickly learned that there are much better places to say. More
