We stayed 4 nights in a basic room. Asked for an upgrade but were not accommodated, that's okay it was no big deal. The room was basic and old, but the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. No view so cannot comment on that. Nice size bathroom with stand up shower. We had a room at the very end... More

Upon arrival to the hotel we had to wait in line for check in or an extended period of time. For a Saturday afternoon, not very many front desk agents were available. The front desk agent that checked us in scribbled on a piece of paper asking for our telephone number and email. She then proceeded to ask us for... More

We thought the Excalibur was great with the kids. If it were just my husband & I, we'd probably stay somewhere else. My only real complaint is gagging on the smoke smell walking through the lobby & casino area, but it's Vegas, right? The only thing is that this was not the case at many of the other hotels... ventilation... More

This place rocks! I've never stayed in a casino before and this was brilliant! It is located at the end of the strip opposite MGM grande, The Tropicana and New York New York. The resident bar is called Dicks and they are a seriously crazy lot! Great fun. The location is brilliant as everything is within walking distance. The only... More

Hallway & casino carpets were ragged & torn; nice bathroom; poor service at registration--always a line; resort fees (in most Las Vegas hotels, not just this one) are ridiculous, a rip-off since most travelers don't use them. One of the "amenities" covered by the fee is a daily newspaper--but you have to go to the registration area & seek it... More

I paid for a deluxe room and was assured that i was upgraded upon checking in 'to a wide screen room' - The only good thing about our room was the fantastic view of the strip :0) Bad sides were - No double glazing so you could hear all the traffic 'all through the night' you could even here people... We spent 6 nights at the Excalibur hotel in November 2011. I found the hotel room to be spacious, very clean with no complaints!. For the price, the room was fab and surprisingly quiet for Vegas. So much to do within the hotel with everything you may need entertainment / food related however, as it was our first time in... More

First of all, the parking area for the hotel is terrible! All of the hotels have an elevator going from the parking garage to the hotel. This one, unfortunately, doesn't. My family and I ended up personally dragging our luggage to the casino entrance. From there, I didn't see any ramps for handicapped people or for those who have luggage,... More

I thought with the new renovations, or updates to some of the rooms ( called the widescreen room) would be worth paying a little extra. Rooms that are out dated and unclean is not my cup of tea. Check in was decent, fast. Staff was polite. Our room was in Tower 2 with the pool. When we got to the... More

We stayed 3 nights from Jan. 13th-15th. We had a great room on the 24th floor looking over New York New York. We had a big, comfortable king bed. Our room was a non-smoking room with a great view. Excalibur also had free wired internet, which was great with out small laptop. We enjoyed walking to Tropicana, New York, New... More
