My wife and i spent 12 days in vegas last november and dined in several buffets in downtown and strip.Without any shadow of doubt the Main street station buffet is not only the best value in vegas the quality of food is second to none. The selection of deserts is out of this world such a varity to choose from. One can... Visited Las Vegas as part of a larger trip around the USA to catch up with friends. I like downtown and have previously stayed in the Golden Nugget, but fancied a change. I've visited the MSS before as the Brewpub and Buffet are excellent - and they still are. Hotel wise - the rooms are nothing special, but the rates... More

I got a good deal on this hotel from a travel site. Glad I did not pay too much. The hotel is down town, a few blocks from experience, but seems like a long walk when your feet hurt from walking strip and when it's cold. There are low cost hotels closer and from what I was heard better. The... More

We stayed here news year weekend, the rooms are remodeled and in good condition, I do not understand why Las Vegas hotels do not have coffee in the room, every where else I travel it is standard. the hotel has a buffet and the triple 7 brew pub , you have to walk over a bridge to California for the... I don't know why reviewers have been so kind to this hotel's ROOMS. Everything else about the property was great (and accurate). The rooms (two of them), however, were a different story. I checked in very early, and I was happy that a room was available. It was a handicapped room. However, I've stayed in them in other hotels before... More

Excellent food at the buffet of the mini-brewery. The rooms and service are top notch. The best bang for your buck in Vegas. More

I stayed here for 4 nights in august . The room is very basic but clean and nice. Buffet is awesome only about 8 dollars and it is set back a little bit of off fremont st which i liked. Everyone here was very friendly and helpful. More

I would compare Main Street Station to a movie you hear hyped up and talked about as something really great, but when you see it, it’s good, but doesn’t live up to expectations (many of which were formed reading reviews on this website.) Frommer's guidebook lists it as one of the best places to stay in the Fremont Street area.... More

Stayed here on a recent getaway to vegas. This is not a high end casino, but it is a nice place to stay at very reasonable rates. The lobby and overall decor of this place is gorgeous. Lots of woods, brass, metal etc. It feels like an early 20th century train station. The rooms themselves are just average. They were... More
