Staying at Arizona Chalets was honestly a letdown from the start. We picked it hoping to be close to family, and the reviews didn't seem terrible, but boy, were we wrong. The customer service on our first night was pretty basic, and the lack of uniforms made it confusing to figure out who was helping us. The real kicker was walking into our room and feeling like we'd stepped into a horror movie scene. Double beds for a couple, a view of trash outside the window, and that cloud of old cigarette smoke hitting us right in the face – it wasn't what we expected. Wanting to bail out, we tried to cancel, but no luck – we were stuck for the full five days. After some persistence, we managed to switch to a room in the newer building. It was okay, the shower was good, but the bed was annoyingly squeaky. At least, there was no cigarette smell in that room. Yet, every time we stepped out of the room, there it was again – that lingering smell. And to top it off, on our last day, we found a baby roach in the bathroom. Not the best way to wrap up our stay, to say the least. On the upside, they had a live music band. It was basic, but it added a local vibe to the place. Overall, it's a 100% local scene, but if you're looking for a comfy and hassle-free stay, Arizona Chalets might not be the best pick.

The machines are tight. I spent $1000.00 plus in the buffalo machine after 200 spins you don't get to the bonus round. The rewards program takes an $8000 dollar lose to get a free night stay. Please don't play at this casino if you are an out towner. Spend your money at the gold coast or palms f Charlie's Decatur

Pictures of rooms are not accurate! Our room was at least 50 years old. Finally had to go to front desk because getting service from housekeeping did not exist. We had to switch rooms because of fan noise on AC. Have no idea what resort fee goes too, perhaps a towel or bar of baby soap you have to share.

For a low budget hotel I expected more. Besides the casino area smelling like a dirty ash tray the rooms are dirty, hot, smelly and unattractive. For the $200 per night I paid I would pay an extra hundred to stay ANY where else. The best thing about Ari:ona Charlie's is that I'm not there anymore. Trust me DO NOT STAY THERE!!

Checked into my room and discovered that the bathtub had 2 inches of water and refrigerator had items left over from previous tenant. I went to lobby and asked for someone to fix the tub. They transferred me to a new room which I was glad. This room was much better except for there was an enormous grease stain on the carpet by the front of the bed. It looked fresh and very much like grease of some kind. Will not stay at this location again.

This has to have been the 5th time I’ve stayed here and it continues to offer simple accommodation that is clean and comfortable and at a affordable price. It is located about 6 miles from the strip. One of the highlights is that there is an outdoor pool and hot tub, open from 10:00 to 20:00. The staff are quite pleasant and I would continue to recommend it as a no frills place to stay. The Meadows rooms are a little bigger and more modern than the Klondike rooms. There were a few negatives: The hotel is one of very few in the world that actually changes a $75 deposit at check in rather than just earmarking funds. For foreign guests this results in a 20% charge from the bid/offer spread on the currency exchange. There is no need for this and I have raised it as a concern both with the hotel and with travel agencies. The practice needs to be stopped as the only people benefitting are the banks. The signal on the internet was very poor indeed. Given that the ludicrous resort fee is meant to cover thus, it is scandalous. The quality of the tv satellite system signal is also very poor. I have noticed that the quality of the food in the usually very good Sourdough Cafe has fallen quite a bit. Room servicing is no longer carried out daily (in common with many hotels) however it is not highlighted to guests that, unless specifically requested, room servicing will not happen. Assuming these points are all addressed, Arizona Charlie’s should be able to regain its crown as the leading 3* hotel in Las Vegas

Awful experience. We stayed for 1 night which was far too long 12 hrs, rooms are dirty and dingy, no wifi even with multiple calls to the front desk they weren't honest that there was an issue, just kept telling me to keep trying. In the morning go to make a coffee, no cup and then shower with dirty towels in the shower from previous guests. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. Checking out mentioned these issues, she tells me I should get my resort fee $28.24 plus tax back, no manager to talk to, they will call me in a couple hours. 2 days later I send an email, no reply, then they send a survey to which I reply, no response. I get home thinking maybe they just reversed the resort fee instead of calling me to deal with is, nope on my credit card still. I call no manager, Andrew will call me he doesn't I call again to which he tells me it is my fault for not checking the room upon check in. because I didn't give them the chance to fix the issue it is my fault, well we went to shower at 10 am to find dirty towels and checked out and mentioned the coffee cup and dirty towels. Not sure how that could have been quicker. ... Wifi has been a known ongoing issue do to weather, this night was calm and no rain ( this wasn't told to us even with phone calls to the phone desk. All excuses and blame place on me. I have never written a review like this before and often when I read them I think people might be over reacting, not the case here. I get stuff doesn't always go right but the way I was blamed and talked to was inexcusable. No refund to resort fee. Don't waste your money on this hotel.

The hotel rooms are terrible. Need to call housekeeping every time you need something. They don't come around daily to clean rooms and bring fresh towels. Need to call. Room had a terrible smell and carpet is filthy. Asked for a wheel in shower with two beds but the wheel in showers only have one bed in them. The rooms on south side of casino are better but the ones on north side of casino are disgusting. Food and gaming were good, just the room was terrible. Won't stay there again!!

I have been going to this hotel for years and have stayed many times. This is usually my go to hotel but this most recent stay I have to say there is a lot to be desired. I paid to be upgrade to the Meadows tower which is supposed to be the "updated" tower and therefore costs more to stay there. Those updates occurred many years ago so not sure if I would still call it updated. When getting to the room everything seemed good. After a long drive we just put our things in the room and went to get some food and play some slots in the casino which went well. We came back to the room to notice there was only 1 set of towels which looked like they were left over from the previous guest's stay. We had the room with 2 beds as there were 3 of us. So 1 set of towel was not going to be sufficient. When we pulled the blanket back on one of the beds there was no top sheet. Just a bottom sheet and a blanket. No sheet to sleep under. We were so tired at that point that we just let it go for the night as we had brought towels from home luckily. In the morning we saw the maid and let her know about the concerns we had. She proceeded to tell us that we would have to call housekeeping and request more towels and have the bed changed properly. Even though her cart was full with supplies. Ok fine but wasn't she housekeeping? We called down and advised the housekeeping manager of our concerns and she said that she would have it done today. We were fine with that as we were going out for the day. When we returned however, we came back to the room with nothing being done. No towels and still no sheets! I called down to the front desk to be told that yes there was a maid on duty and as soon as they could locate her they would send her up. 2 hours later still no maid or notification of a maid. I called the front desk again only to receive a phone ringing and ringing with no answer multiple times. We went down to the front desk to find no one there. Needless to say we never received the towels, the bed linen was never corrected and we never received a call back regarding our request. I will be re-thinking staying here again.
