We spent 3 nights at the Platinum in Jan 2012. We had a strip view Princess suite, that had 2 queen beds in a separate room from the lounge room/ kitchen area. The room also had a balcony, washer/dryer, plasmas and a hot tub in the bath room. The hotel was extremely clean and this was maintained throughout or stay.... More

Why is this hotel so high in the list of Las Vegas hotels?! Because of it I booked and I regret the amount of money we spent on this. The room is definitely large and the kitchen is definitely useful if you intend to cook or have a small family (but this is Vegas, are you really going to spend... More

We are sorry that we were not able to meet your expectations with our hotel. Most importantly we are displeased about the incident with your charger and I would like you to know that the incident will be addressed with our staff. More

I am part of an organization in Las Vegas and two times out of the year we hold an event at a hotel. People come to learn about our organization and meet with members for 3 hours. Prior to this stay, we held this event at the Palazzo the past 6 times with no problems whatsoever. After this stay, I... More

Unfortunately the hotel was unaware that the suite was booked for your fraternity event which included a DJ. With the number of guests that were in the suite the safety and security of your associates and the comfort of our other guests was the factor the led us to ask you to have the non-registered guests leave the suite. Our... More

This place is awesome! The best place to be in this hotel is in the odd numbered rooms facing north on floors 3, 4, and 5. These rooms have a spectacular view of The Las Vegas Strip! It is more like an apartment than a suite. There's a washer and dryer, as well as a dishwasher in the room. Pay... More

As per other reviews - this is a great hotel, nice big suites, good service. Good kitchen, big bathroom with double size jacuzzi bathtub. Would definitely come back. We've been to Las Vegas before and previously liked being on the Strip, but now that we've seen it, it was very nice to be away from it in this quiet hotel.... More

Thank you for your great review of the hotel and for all the tips you presented about the hotel and the areas around the hotel. As we like to say it has "all the attractions without the distractions" of being on the strip. More

We stayed here as a family in August. While the room is large, the decor in the room is circa Holiday Inn. The hotel is located very far from the strip. When you walk to the strip, you pass a large parking lot, where several unsavory people congregate. I felt very unsafe walking to/from this hotel. I agree with what... More

Thank you for your response. We do work hard at keeping the maintenance of our rooms to a high standard. There has been a recent overhaul of the grounds around the hotel and to our knowledge there has never been an incident with anyone walking to and from the strip to the hotel. I hope you will consider coming back... More

Came to the hotel for a conference and to spend a fun weekend with a friend. We are super happy we stayed here. The kitchen came in handy, it was great to have a balcony, the bathroom was HUGE with a double vanity, and nice to have a separate bedroom with closed doors. We never heard anyone else and were... At this hotel we has some mixed experience. For the first time ever we had to tell the house keeping to clean the room after it had been made up, that is the bathroom and the kitchen. When that was done, parts of it should really have been cleaned once more. Apart from the that experience, we were very pleased... More

We celebrated my 50th birthday in LV and, following previous Strip hotel stays, decided to stop in a non-gaming hotel for a change. This was definitely a smart move, as our Princess Suite was spacious and clean, and the hotel facilities enabled us to recharge each morning before venturing out once more! The service was faultless and attentive (on my... More

I recently stayed at the Platinum Hotel for work. This was my second time staying here because I was so impressed the first time. It is just off the strip, behind Bally's, and a half mile walk to the Sands Expo Center, where I was working for the week. The Platinum is a non casino, which means you walk right... More
