Stayed January 3rd - 7th. Booked a "Deluxe room", advertised as upgraded with Strip View. Nasty room, in Mardi Gras Tower (M524) on 5th floor with view of air conditioning and kitchen extractors, next to elevator/lift shaft (remember Vegas is a 24 hour city, and therefore so are the lifts) and so 24 hr noise. Stayed there Dec 10-16. Was offered an upgrade to a luxury room for $10 a night. Did not get a luxury room. Got the same mediocre quality room at a higher floor level. The so-called luxury room also did not include any coffee pot in room or comfortable chair (recliner). While location is nice, their false advertising about luxury rooms... more

We paid $15 a night extra for an upgraded room, but quality was less than expected. We were told the room was "RECENTLY UPGRADED".
