We only paid $50 plus tax a night at this motel and it had good and bad points. I liked it's quirkyness and it was cheap and clean. The downside was the breakfast, and the pillows (just one each) were thin and the mattress a little hard and uncomfortable. It was a bit hot and we tried the air con,... More

I stayed at the Atomic Inn with about ten other people last year (half Americans, half Brits and one Aussie), September 2012 to be exact. We were en route to the desert and did some filming - we shot a couple of scenes at the Atomic for our movie 'Bruno & Earlene Go To Vegas'. We were in contact with... More

When I wanted to spend a week in Death Valley, I wasn't quite willing to spend the Big Money to stay at the Furnace Creek Ranch actually in the park - so I settled for the next best thing, the nearby town of Beatty. I could have gone Motel 6, but I always prefer the personal touch of the mom... More

Rooms are of a good size but the decor and appliances are old and tired. The lino in the bathroom was torn and lifting and the front door took a number of attempts to unlock. We had no problem with the wifi as reported by other guests.

Yes the Wifi was sucky, the only downer to the stay and yup the breakfast was really bare minimum but it looks like this motel is a stop off and that's what it offers. Clean and a comfy bed for the night with friendly staff and next to restaurants. No complaints here :)

The Atomic Inn was a gem in disguise. The rooms were spacious, clean and the atmosphere very relaxing. However, the Wi-Fi was non-operational during either one of my two visits. The problem was brought to the attention of staff and we were promptly told, "Sorry, there is nothing we can do about it".

Ok - it was clean. That is the only thing positive about this place. Old, dated doublewides that have been stuccoed over. Flat screen TV my #*(. How about a 1990 TV? Peeling linoleum in bathroom, no screens on windows. No telephone. Internet not working. This place and this town are just scary. Just keep driving.

The hotel is clean and very correct but the "continental breakfast" is a joke. Bad coffee and an industrial pastrie that´s what you´ll get. I had to call them at 7:30AM because there where still no body at the office, after that they advise you to go early to death valley ? Go there for their fresh rooms but that´s... More

the concept of this place is neat. it is a simple motel with a 50ies / alien / retro set up. our room was basic but clean. and cleanliness is what counts right? with this box checked we were happy. in my opinion the whole set up could have used even more kitschy stuff. more weird decoration inside and out.... Checked in after dark. Delighted with Deco furniture and lamps. Very nice room with Atmosphere. Receptionist very helpful with directions the next morning. Quaint little town with old west theme. It did not have a coffee pot in the room which would have been nice.It was clean and comfortable as a place to rest before we went to Death Valley. I... More
