Stayed 5 nights while visiting family & friends in Valentine who recommended Dunes. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and some of the friendliest staff we've met. Beds were new and comfortable. We traveled to Valentine for work and pleasure. The Dunes Lodge is locally owned, very nice, very clean and a good value. There are two very good steakhouse next door to the east. The Peppermill is owned and operated by the same family that owns the Dunes. Very good food and value.

We chose this hotel because it was the only hotel left in Valentine! To our surprise, because I don't like staying anywhere we haven't reviewed, the Dunes hotel was very roomy and very clean.
