Jay promised to refund a part of the pet fee due to my TERRIBLE experience at the hotel with kay and Ray, the "managers" and false advertising on his part about the pet fees. Still no response from him. The room was filthy dirty, food all over the breakfast counters, rude rude rude staff. I agree with the other reviews... More

If you have even one other option, go somewhere else! Dirty, smelly, even the sheets weren't clean. If I hadn't been in the middle of NOWHERE I would have walked out. The manager was rude and mean. The owners must not care for anything but the bottom line profit. This property should be shut down. More

I can't believe I paid $80 for such a nasty, dirty room that smelled like an old dirty trucker. There was old food on the floor under the bed and "body hair" all over the floor of the bathroom. I pulled the comforters off as I'm sure they don't get washed because I didn't want my kids touching them. This... More

We stayed at this hotel with my daughter's softball team, and several other teams as there was a tournament nearby. DO NOT STAY HERE! From the beginning this hotel offered horrible customer service!!! Our team mom was told they couldn't hold our rooms without a credit card (totally normal) and we needed to call right away. Of course, we all... More

We had a softball team with 14 rooms in our block and we had lots of problems with trying to get confirmations on our rooms prior to our stay. The manager, Kay, was very rude to all of our parents the minute we pulled on their property -- she even came running out to the parking lot yelling at our... More

What a nightmare. I stayed here because it was supposed to be "pet friendly". Nowhere on the WebRez did it say anything about there being a $10 per pet per night fee. I spoke with the manager, Kay, who was rude and sarcastic about my confirmed reservation, and told me "take it or leave it". She was checking in several... More

Reservations mean nothing; our room was downgraded from suite to double--with no explanation other than "uh oh!" We were charged MORE than the internet price for our double room--but the clerk expected me to be happy since I was paying less. (No kidding, a double room is less than a suite!) No, our mattress was "serta," not temper-pedic--with sheets that... More

The hotel has given up the franchise name and is now the Syracuse Inn, same good service and room, clean and really the only option until you get to Nebraska City or Lincoln or Omaha. Certainly adequate for a 1 or 2 night stay. More

This looks nearly-new and a surprise for such a small town. Stayed here 1 night in a double-queen room. The room was small and the beds not the greatest, but it was just fine for one night. I really liked the walk-in shower unit, not the usual shower/tub combo. I also liked having the sink/vanity outside the bathroom. The breakfast... More

We were traveling west and wanted to avoid Omaha, NE. We took state road 2 toward Lincoln, NE. The hotel was very clean, inexpensive, and the staff was very friendly. More
