“Second time around, great place!”

Stayed once again on business for one night in April 2013. The setting is glorious, staff and very friendly, and the theme is perfect (Arbor Day Foundation: trees). The building is made of grand timbers, and the lobby is a fantastic vaulted ceiling. The building and grounds including the landscaping are a marvel to see. I highly recommend this lodge!

“Great Experience for all ages!”

We stayed at the lodge with our family (1 year old and 4 year old). We had a great time and staff was wonderful. The entire location was very clean and well maintained. The meal at the lodge was very good and the staff took care of the kids. We will be back!

Perfect getaway from Omaha, especially in the fall. I try to make it here annually. Rates are reasonable and you can usually ask for a view (north-facing rooms) that overlook the hazelnut bushes and forest. This place has a true lodge feel to it, with towering, bare trees supporting the roof. Pretty cool that the supports are in the rooms... More

“Best Wkd getaway - annivesary, girls only, family”

Everytime I go the the Lied Lodge my shoulders relax the moment I walk in the door. There is much to see and do outside of the hotel, but the fireplaces, lounge, awesome restaurant and wonderful pool area are great too!
