The owners of the motel were charming, welcoming and helpful: they directed us to a terrific local restaurant. The rooms are fairly small and straightforward, but everything looked new, the bed was new and comfortable, everything worked and was spotlessly clean. After a long days travel and not wanting to stay at another plain vanilla box numbered (6,8,9) motel I selected the Westerner by its "curb appeal". I was not disappointed. Friendly management, very good value, quiet, clean, a firm queen bed and no "motel" smell. Highly recommended. I would definitely stay there again. More
