I would definitely reccomend staying here; these cabins were right outside the West Yellowstone entrance. They need a handyman, light bulbs are out everywhere, clock radio did not work, doors catch and squeak. The carpets are dirty, DO NOT look under the beds under any circumstance, they are disgusting. My husband and I have stayed in cabins and condos in Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and British Columbia. All of these places (including a cabin built in the 1920's) have been better equipped, better maintained, cleaner, and much more reasonably priced than this dive. We stayed at the Hibernation Station Aug. 19-22nd, 2009 and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! The cabin location was about as close as you could get to the west entrance of Yellowstone. I would NOT recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!! When we checked in these were some of the observations we made: - crumbs on the kitchen counter and kitchen table - Kitchen table and chairs were sticky - previous guest's garbage on the counter - spills were on the counter from the previous guests - kitchen floor was not... more

We stayed here July 19 through 22, 2009, family of 6. Everything was clean, and every day when we returned from Yellowstone it was clean again. No issues from us and didn't hear anyone else complain either. more

Hibernation Station has charming cabins. Very cute! They also sport a great location...just blocks from the West Yellowstone entrance. That being said, I would never stay here again, unless there was a change in ownership or management. The service is astoundingly poor. Our sheets were not clean. Neither were the two cabins across from us, as we heard them complain.... more

I would recommend staying there if you are looking for a great experience. We stayed in the swan King cabin, it was great you opened the door and looked out to the wilderness. The room was clean and well maintained, hot water, double sided fireplace, fridge. We were happy here and will be back with our youngest in the future.... more

Good location, but if planning on re-entering Yellowstone in the morning, leave early --the line was sooo long we decided to not re-enter.
