The place is a few miles from West Glacier, so is ideal for exploring Glacier Nat Park. The cabins (I stayed in a two bedroom unit) are pretty new and extremely well equipped. The staff is pleasant and helpful - its clear they enjoy their jobs.

We stayed here for two nights - stayed in Alpine and had a wonderful experience. We purchased a Groupon for this place and it was a great deal. We live close to Glacier and try to go 3 or 4 times a year - this Groupon worked out for a birthday celebration. Check in was quick and easy and the... More

We stayed at the historic Tamarack Lodge for a week in July, using it as the jumping-off point for our family vacation in Glacier National Park. The cabin we stayed in was comfortable, clean and spacious. And there is a llama! We would stay here again.

We stayed for four nights at the Grinnell cabin with a full kitchen, tv, 2 bedrooms, and everything was just great. The cabin was clean. The beds and furniture were comfortable. It was quiet and cozy. The owners and their dog Josey were very nice too. Josey led us to the Beaver Pond out back, and it was a serene... More

Stayed 3 nights in one of the fourplexs with microwave, fridge, coffee maker. This was very nice. The lodge is quite close to GNP only 8 miles to west glacier. The people at the lodge are great and very helpful. The lodge itself was very beautlful and worth it just to stay in such a unique place. I can't leave out Josey... More

We stayed 5 nights in one of the lofted cabins with full kitchen and we were very comfortable. The bed and bedding were excellent. The kitchen is fully equipped and they provide a barbeque as well. Very cozy. The only drawback was the futon couch. It wasn't comfortable to sit on. But since most days are spent exploring the beautiful... More

Stayed two nights in one of the two-bedroom cabins. It was awesome! Clean, comfortable and quite. The cabins include a full kitchen that we didn't use except for coffee and toast but would be great for a family that wanted to cook in. In the morning we went to the continental breakfast which had a larger variety of cereals then... More

Really enjoyed our stay on our private log cabin, just minutes outside of Glacier National Park. Great location, wonderful bed, full kitchen. The front desk people were helpful in recommending local places to eat which we really enjoy. Don't miss is local gem in Hungry Horse, MT.
