Sonya at the Charley Montana is a great host. The historic house has great rooms and lots of character. I slept great and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. The free wireless was very helpful for getting some work done. There are comfortable places to sit and relax or work.

We were fortunate enough to stay here just before Christmas and the house was a Christmas wonderland! Beautifully decorated, wonderful rustic charm for a bed and breakfast in Montana. Owner is very gracious and an amazing breakfast. We have stayed at a few bed and breakfast homes in Eastern Montana and this is by far the best.

Rooms are a premium in Glendive, MT so I really hate letting one of my "secrets" out. I spend about 100 nights a year on the road and I go out of my way to stay here. The staff is so helpful and accommodating to the point of allowing me to use the kitchen to prep one of my meals.... More

Breakfast is served at 7:15am. If you are not up for it, that's your problem. We stayed in probably their nicest room. The air conditioner kept blowing the breaker so we couldn't cool down our room; the windows were so rickety that we couldn't open them so we suffered through a stuffy night in a stuffy old house; the bathroom... We stayed here on our way to Yellowstone. Were very impressed with the lovely old mansion. The yard is gorgeous the house is clean and full of beautifiul antiques. The hostess was super nice and the breakfast!! Wow. The best we have ever had on the road. Definitely want to go back.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, interesting place, well located. We stayed in the Queen room on the main floor and it was comfortable. The lighting was not good in bathroom or bedroom, but old houses weren't made to have the shades closed all the time. I can't say anything negative........just positive. Second time I've stayed in two years, each visit just as good = excellent. Breakfasts are best I've ever had in any B&B, domestic or abroad. Service was gracious, beds fine. Turn-of-the-century building, comfortable furniture. Plan on spending at least an hour at breakfast as the food is served in courses and good conversations pop-up. Nearby supper places not better...
